Delivering exceptional hearing healthcare requires a unique blend of skills and qualities. As a hearing care professional, you will play a vital role in helping people overcome their hearing loss.
The ideal candidate will be compassionate, process-oriented, and purpose-driven, with excellent organizational and customer service skills to deliver quality outcomes. You will work collaboratively with Clinicians and Clinic Coordinators to deliver video otoscopy, tympanometry, equipment placement for air and bone conduction, and speech testing.
You will facilitate device demonstrations and tests, manage equipment and IT for video conferencing, and assist with hearing aid fitting, minor repairs, and troubleshooting. Previous sales and/or customer service experience in hearing care services or allied health is essential. Experience working with an older demographic is preferred.
A strong foundation in communication skills, empathy, and interpersonal relationships is necessary to build trust with clients. Higher School Certificate (HSC) or TAFE Qualification is required, along with advanced computer skills.
