Job Overview
This is a senior leadership position responsible for building and maintaining effective relationships with government stakeholders to support commercial and strategic objectives.
* Key Responsibilities
o Represent the company as a trusted delivery partner to build reputation within government and other customers.
o Provide political and customer insights to support work winning, business units, and tenders.
o Influence government policy and decision-making on key industry issues.
o Develop high-quality policy papers and submissions to government and industry associations.
o Advise senior leaders on engagement, advocacy, and issues management with government and customers.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Tertiary qualification in politics, public relations, journalism, stakeholder management, marketing or related discipline.
* Significant experience providing strategic communications, advocacy, policy, and engagement advice within a State or Federal Minister's office or senior advisory position within a government agency.
* Extensive experience in strategic communications engagement, policy, and advocacy in an industry association, think tank, or public affairs agency.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders across the business.
