Apprentice Boilermaker Opportunity
The position offers a competency-based apprenticeship to develop a range of skills in boiler making through formal and on-the-job learning activities. This involves working under close supervision to undertake repair, replacement, installation, design, and manufacturing of plant and equipment, as well as operating hand tools, lathes, grinding machinery, hydraulic presses, boring equipment, and welding equipment.
* Completed Year 10 with passes in English and Mathematics
* Minimum of Queensland C class provisional driver's licence (or ability to obtain)
* Sound written and verbal communication skills
* Sound computer skills
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment
* Willingness to undertake the requirements to successfully complete the associated qualification
