Branch Manager
to lead our
Brisbane branch in Yatala
, ensuring smooth
day-to-day operations, strong team leadership and ongoing business growth.
About the Role
The
Brisbane Branch Manager
will oversee all operational, sales and safety aspects of the branch. You will lead a small, dedicated team, drive profitability and maintain the high standards our customers expect.
This role is ideal for a hands-on manager with a strong technical understanding of heavy vehicle's and a proven track record in leading workshop teams.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Administration
* Oversee daily branch operations.
* Monitor sales and expenses to achieve profitability targets.
* Maintain accurate records of workshop jobs, invoicing, purchasing and reporting.
* Manage inventory and ensure a clean, organised workshop environment.
* Support ISO9001 compliance and assist with annual audits.
Team Leadership
* Lead, manage and support workshop staff to deliver quality repairs on time and within budget.
* Foster teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement.
* Maintain a positive, safe and professional workplace.
Sales & Customer Relations
* Drive growth by increasing workshop billable hours and product sales.
* Build strong, long-term relationships with customers to promote repeat business.
* Ensure all enquiries and repairs are handled efficiently and professionally.
* Represent the CSA brand with integrity and service excellence.
Compliance & Workplace Safety
* Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety regulations and company policies.
* Promote a safety first culture and actively participate in audits and inspections.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Proven experience in a management or supervisory role within the transport or mechanical repair industry.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
* Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
* Sound computer literacy, including report writing and documentation management.
* Customer-focused approach with a commitment to quality and service delivery.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred:
* Mechanical trade qualifications (heavy vehicle or related field).
* Current driver's licence (HA or MC highly regarded).
* Forklift licence (desirable, not essential).
