CNQ Freight Services is a family-owned Transport & Logistics Company, currently seeking an experienced Depot Manager to join their leadership team in Cairns.
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
* Manage and oversee day-to-day operations of the transport fleet and drive operational efficiency.
* Maintain compliancewithCompany Policies, NHVR and Chain of Responsibility laws, along with Workplace Health and Safety Laws.
* Attract new business opportunities and maintain rapport with current clientele.
* Mentor a close-knit transport team to ensure high levels of performance and customer service.
* Maintain and further improve the current reputation of delivering an excellent service and providing 100% customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with other depot managers on linehaul operations.
* Ensure DIFOT targets are upheld.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
* 3-5+ years’ experience as a Transport Depot Manager or similar.
* Qualification or working knowledge in WHS, NHVAS and CoR.
* Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Proficientin Transport Management Software and Microsoft suite of products – outlook, excel etc.
* Strong team management capabilities.
