An opportunity exists for a skilled and proactive Business Support Officer to join our client on assignment.

Location: Darwin
Hourly: $54.86 per hour
Duration: Temporary Assignment
Contract Hours: Full‑time preferred (flexible for the right candidate)

An opportunity exists for a skilled and proactive Business Support Officer to join a busy team on a short‑term assignment. This role provides essential backfill support to maintain smooth operations during a period of increased workload. The successful candidate will be organised, adaptable, and confident, managing a wide range of administrative tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

About the Role
This position provides administrative support across several operational areas, ensuring tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and within required timeframes. You will work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders and support both routine processes and ad‑hoc needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. PFP Administration
2. Provide administrative support for the Performance and Feedback Program.
3. Assist with scheduling, document collation and data entry
4. Monitor deadlines and follow‑up actions
5. Maintain organised and confidential records
6. FSP Data Requests
7. Coordinate incoming data requests
8. Validate information before submission Liaise with internal contacts to obtain missing details
9. Maintain data accuracy and confidentiality
10. Secretariat Support – SOSSO Provide secretariat support for scheduled meetings
11. Prepare agendas and meeting packs. Attend meetings and take clear, professional minutes
12. Track action items and maintain documentation
13. Fellowship Inbox Management Manage and triage a high‑volume inbox
14. Respond to enquiries or escalate appropriately
15. Maintain organised and up‑to‑date correspondence records Monitor outstanding requests Travel Booking Support – Locum Assist with arranging travel for staff as required Coordinate flights, accommodation and transport Manage itinerary changes and confirmations
16. Ensure bookings align with internal guidelines

Skills & Experience
17. Strong administrative background with a high level of attention to detail
18. Experience managing multiple inboxes or high‑volume
