About This OpportunityThe Data Analyst will support our Business Operations team (Sales, Finance, Product and Operations). This role will report directly to the VP of Operations and will be responsible for supporting several applications. The role also involves conducting in-depth research and reporting using Microsoft Excel intensively. In addition, this position is responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the businesses Power BI reporting framework.NOTE: This is an in-office position in Richmond, VIC- AustraliaResponsibilitiesCreates executive-level reporting on all aspects of IPC services, including trend analysis, cost benefit/ROI analysis, and forecastingMaintains self-service dashboards for business team using BI softwareAssists in the development of reports for easy analysis of key informationAssists in the design, maintenance and interpretation of basic operational reports to monitor both retailer and manufacturer activityAnalyzes past results to report cost benefit and performance improvementsQueries, interprets, evaluates and interrelates transactional data and presents findings to internal management and external customersMonitors high transaction database to ensure accuracy and effectivenessPerforms ad-hoc reporting as neededInteracts with internal and external peers and manager to share complex information related to area of expertiseActs as a liaison between the business and ITWork with clients to extract project/reporting requirementsAssists with forecasts and projections for executive planningQualificationsMinimum of two years related experience in business information systems and process analysis required, with strong data analysis skills and data process modeling skillsUndergraduate degree in Data Science, MIS, Math/Statistics, Business or equivalentExperience developing reports for end users (Excel, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Tableau, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud)Experience with SQL, Oracle or Postgres preferredPython experience a plusPower BI dashboard development experience requiredOracle PL/SQL experience a plusPrevious experience in evaluating ROI, forecasting and trend analysis is a plusAbility to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications to all levels of managementProject management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects, define project scopes and establish and maintain project timelinesUnderstanding of manufacturing and retail relationships as it relates to reverse logistics is preferredKnowledge of data transfer methods is preferred (XML, etc.)InComm/TCN provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin, citizenship, veteran’s status, age, disability status, genetics or any other category protected by federal, state, or local law.
