CHEF
Mealtimes are the highlight of the day for many of our residents. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef who will provide healthy and nutritious meals, create an enjoyable kitchen and dining experience for staff and residents.
As the Chef, you will report directly to the Chef manager and Director of Nursing and be responsible for creating and providing fresh, high-quality meals for our residents. You will also be responsible for the smooth running of the kitchen and supervising staff in the Chef managers absence to ensure smooth operations. Some weekend work required.
What do I need for the role:
* Cert IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent qualification.
* Proven experience as a chef, ideally within an aged care or healthcare setting. Leadership experience will be an advantage
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to complete documentation
* Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Committed to delivering high-quality meals and ensuring a positive dining experience for residents.
