Administration Officer - Pimpama Campus

We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our team at our Pimpama Campus.

This is a Fixed Term Full time, operating Monday to Friday, Term Time.

When assigned: an administrative role, that may include, but is not limited to the following duties:

* General administrative tasks, focusing on managing incoming calls.
* Greeting students, parents and visitors who enter the school.
* Address concerns from families, answer questions and escalation of questions or concerns you cannot answer.

Qualifications and Experience

* Minimum 2 years previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (experience in a similar role will be highly regarded).
* Current Working with Children Check.
* Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.
* Team‐player attitude with a strong work ethic and genuine desire to help.

Your curriculum vitae should include details for;

* at least 2 recent professional referees.
* at least 1 referee who can attest to your suitability to work within the values and culture of an expanding Christian school (preferably from a pastor or minister).

King's is an expanding, multi‐Campus school that places paramount importance on the development of the whole child, with a particular focus on providing every student the opportunity to develop Christian Leadership skills that will prepare them for their future. Our College currently consists of 3 dynamic campuses, with several more campuses in the planning stages, serving the communities in which they are located.

The REEDY CREEK CAMPUS (on the southern end of the Gold Coast) has more than 2600 students on‐site, from Early Learning through to Year 12. This campus also includes a Trade Training College.

Our PIMPAMA CAMPUS (on the northern end of the Gold Coast) currently has over 2000 students on‐site, from Early Learning to Year 12.

King's LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south‐west Logan) currently has over 1000 students on‐site, offering places for students from Early Learning through to High School.

King's Christian College is committed to acting in accordance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 (QLD) to promote the safety and wellbeing of all students. As such, candidates will be subject to a Qld Teacher Registration check or Blue Card screening and other relevant checks as required.
