Overview

The ORS Psychology team is expanding, and we are seeking a Psychologist to join the national team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop clinical expertise in a friendly and well-supported team that values growth, passion, and skills.

While providing psychological practice, you will use evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including CBT, ACT & DBT. You will also have the opportunity to administer a full range of psychological assessments, including mental health, IQ, psychoeducational, school readiness, decision-making capacity, autism, and ADHD assessments.

Experience in cognitive and autism assessments will be looked upon favourably, as will endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology, Clinical Psychology or Educational and Developmental Psychology. We support the 5+1 pathway and registrar programs with AHPRA Board-approved Supervisors on staff.

Job Description

As a Psychologist, you will work across various environments, including clinics, family homes, disability group homes, day programs, and schools within your community. Your primary focus will be providing high-quality psychological services to clients, using your clinical expertise to inform your practice.

Required Skills and Qualifications

* Tertiary qualifications in Psychology
* Ability to become registered with AHPRA in a Registrar program – e.g., clinical psychology, clinical neuropsychology, education and developmental psychology, or forensic psychology
* Registration or ability to become registered with AHPRA for endorsed positions
* A car and licence
* National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
