Industrial Engineering Role
We are seeking an experienced engineer to join our team in Brisbane, Australia.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, production, industrial, chemical, electrical, or mechatronics, with a minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive reliability improvement initiatives, including small-to-medium capital and non-capital projects.
* Evolving and optimizing maintenance and reliability strategies and practices using SAP and GE Asset Performance Management (APM) systems.
* Address equipment issues with effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
* Oversee capital investment projects and manage change processes, leveraging internal and external resources.
* Collaborate with other project leaders to enhance project delivery.
* Ensure compliance with local regulations and site requirements across various disciplines.
* Assess processes and interpret data to drive informed decision-making.
* Develop best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production, Industrial, Chemical, Electrical, or Mechatronics.
* Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally with experience in reliability engineering.
* Demonstrated project management experience, showcasing the ability to lead and execute projects effectively.
* Exposure to Computerised Maintenance Systems (CMMS).
* Familiarity with CAD or AutoCAD software is preferred to support design and engineering processes.
* Exceptional analytical and technical skills, enabling effective problem-solving and data interpretation.
* Proven ability to think innovatively and adapt to changing circumstances and challenges in the workplace.
