About the Role
As a Baker with Henrys Bakery, you will be responsible for producing a range of breads, doughs, and bakery items according to our recipes and production standards.
This is a hands-on, physical role suited to someone who enjoys early mornings, high-volume output, and maintaining product quality under time pressure.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and baked goods to a consistent standard
Scale, mix, shape, proof, and bake doughs following established procedures
Work efficiently to meet daily production timelines
Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards across the bakery
Assist in stock rotation, preparation, and ingredient management
Collaborate with the bakery team to ensure smooth daily operations
Contribute to a positive, reliable, team-focused work environment
We're Looking For
Previous commercial baking experience (bread and/or pastry)
Strong understanding of dough processes and baking techniques
Ability to work in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment
Reliability: able to follow schedules, maintain consistency, and show up ready to work
Excellent attention to detail and pride in product quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Physical capability for a job that includes lifting, standing, and repetitive work

Location: Henrys Bakery – Lismore
Hours: 3am-11am Tuesday to Saturday
Employment Type: Full-time
Start Date: Immediate start available
