As we continue to grow, we're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Part-Time Accountant to join our close-knit team and help support our expanding client base
About the Role
This is a hands-on role where you'll work directly with the Director and clients to deliver high-quality accounting, tax, and business advisory services.
Ideal for someone who enjoys client interaction, solving problems, and working in a dynamic small firm environment.
• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns (individual, company, trust, SMSF)
• Preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS
• Reconciliations and bookkeeping support (Xero, MYOB, etc.)
• Assisting with tax planning, forecasting, and advisory work
• Direct client communication and relationship management
• Supporting process improvements and firm growth initiatives
About You
• Minimum 3+ years' experience in public practice (Australia)
• Proficiency in Xero and cloud-based accounting systems
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently and in a collaborative team
• Able to manage deadlines and multiple client files
• A proactive and client-first mindset
