Administrative Officer and Production Assistant

Part time, school hours
Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 2:00pm
$28 – $32 per hour, depending on experience and aptitude
About the Role
Myers Badges and Win Trophies is a family owned Brisbane business supplying custom badges, medals, trophies, and awards to schools, sporting clubs, and corporate customers.
We are seeking a friendly, organised, and reliable Administrative Officer and Production Assistant to join our small team. The role is primarily administration and customer service focused, with the opportunity to develop skills in graphic design and hands on production over time.
You will also provide limited support to our sister business, PhotoEtch. This will mainly involve answering phone calls and assisting with dispatch and courier coordination.
What You Will Be Doing
* Answering phones and assisting customers in person and via email
* General office administration and data entry
* Processing orders, invoices, and job paperwork
* Preparing customer quotes using an automated quoting system
* Packing and dispatching completed orders
* Organising couriers and tracking deliveries
* Assisting with job entry and workflow coordination
Production and Design Responsibilities
* Learning basic graphic design using CorelDRAW
* Preparing artwork files and customer proofs
* Assisting with production of badges, trophies, and signage
* Learning to operate UV printers and laser engravers
* Assisting with finishing tasks such as assembly, checking, and packing
* Following production schedules and quality standards
Full training will be provided for all design software and production equipment. No prior graphic design or production experience is required, just a willingness to learn.

* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Confident using computers and office systems
* Friendly, professional, and proactive attitude
* Interest in learning graphic design and hands on production processes
* Experience with Xero is an advantage, training will be provided
* This role may suit a parent or carer seeking school hours work
