Motor Assessors are required to work in a dynamic team, managing motor claims and ensuring safe, cost-effective repairs. They must bring their experience as an existing motor assessor and leverage industry expertise gained through trade qualifications in either panel beating, spray painting or motor mechanics (cert III) to assess vehicle damage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assessing vehicle damage
* Negotiating safe, cost-effective repairs
* Delivering exceptional customer service
* Cultivating relationships with internal teams and external partners
* Working collaboratively within the team to achieve common goals
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Motor Assessor
* Trade qualification (Cert III) in panel beating, spray painting, or mechanics plus 5 years post-trade work experience
* Demonstrated experience preparing repair estimates and delivering customer service excellence
* Must have experience in assessing vehicles or smash repair experience
* Strong organizational skills and excellent time management
