Library Customer Experience Assistant (12 month Contract)

Opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic, approachable individual with excellent customer service skills and experience in a library environment. The role is to provide friendly and welcoming library experiences for patrons.
Responsibilities
* Welcoming customers and providing assistance to locate library material, basic reader's advisory service, basic information service and basic help with use of technology.
* Perform library circulation duties such as issuing, returning, shelving and displaying books.
* Ensure that library collections are in order and that the library is tidy and welcoming.
Requirements
* Current Driver Licence.
* Higher School Certificate or equivalent.
* Certificate III in Library and Information Services or relevant equivalent library experience.
* Working With Children's Check (WWCC) clearance.
* Diploma in Library and Information Services (optional but preferred).

Salary and Working Conditions
Salary range: Grade 6: $1,113.60 – $1,250.00 per week plus superannuation, for a 35‐hour work week. Flexible working arrangements may be considered.
