The Job
This position utilizes the lived experience of mental illness to provide empathetic and informed support to individuals and families, enhancing their engagement with services.
The Role Responsibilities
* Foster trust and understanding by delivering peer support.
* Assist consumers in implementing action plans developed through comprehensive needs assessments and collaborative planning.
* Establish professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate and timely client records adhering to documentation standards.
* Support monitoring, reporting, and evaluation activities.
About You
* Demonstrated personal lived experience of mental illness and recovery.
* Ability to draw on personal recovery experiences to provide strengths-based support.
* Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
* Relevant certifications in mental health or related fields are advantageous.
* Possibility of out-of-hours work and intra-state travel.
