We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to join our team as an Onsite Support Specialist.
Job Description
This is an on-call basis for dispatch/adhoc, backfill projects, and the scope of work varies from client to client. We are looking for a candidate who can provide technical support for desktops, networks, firewalls, and EUC systems.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing technical assistance for desktop and network issues
* Replacing firewalls and upgrading operating systems
* Installing patches and performing software and hardware break-fix tasks
* Configuring and administering MS Office
Required skills and qualifications include:
Technical Requirements
* Experience in firewall replacement
* Ability to handle desktop/network issues
* Capable of installing and upgrading operating systems
* Install patches
* Software and Hardware Break Fix
* Well-versed network engineer (Good to have CCNA or above certification)
* Basics of Wifi
* Basics of networks, LAN, WAN, Switch and Router Configuration
* Install and administer MS Office
Tools and Equipment
* Fully charged laptop with Win8 or 10 operating system and admin rights
* Cisco Console cable (DB9 Rj45 or USB RJ45). In case of USB convertor used, make sure drivers are properly installed
* Laptop should have following program/software installed
* Putty
* Team Viewer
* TFTP server
* Screw Driver Set
* Internet data Card
