Job Details
We are seeking a Rheumatology Specialist to provide specialist care in Rheumatology. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing outpatient consultation services to public patients across Northern Tasmania.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Holds specialist registration as a Medical Practitioner.
* Is a registered Medical Practitioner who is an International Medical Graduate (IMG) on the specialist pathway or with a recognised overseas specialist qualification, assessed as having sufficient experience in the specialty.
* Current Working with Children Registration (where applicable).

* Remuneration package and allowances as per the Medical Practitioners (Public Sector) Award; includes 12% superannuation and salary packaging where applicable.
* Private motor vehicle provision or equivalent allowance (currently $28,786 pro rata per annum, subject to working full-time hours).
* Continuing Professional Development Allowance ($16,974 pro rata per annum).
* On-call allowance; other allowances as per current Award.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be involved in research and quality improvement activities, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. They will also provide specialist advice to inpatient units as required.
