* This position involves providing technical and administrative engineering support for the Council's Natural Disaster Infrastructure Recovery team in project delivery.
About The Role
Full time: 70-hour fortnight.
The salary range is from $88,592.40 to $112,476.00 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Apply engineering principles to deliver road, drainage and bridge infrastructure projects.
2. Develop project plans including financial forecasts and project approvals.
3. Collaborate with construction delivery partners during project scoping, budgeting, and monitoring.
4. Evaluate road conditions and communicate with stakeholders.
5. Prepare documentation related to work matters and facilitate upward communication.
6. Provide factual advice to council staff to inform decision-making processes.
7. Contribute to a positive safety culture within the team.
This role requires strong engineering skills, effective communication, and collaboration with various stakeholders.
