Operational Risk Management Role
This position offers a unique opportunity to lead operational risk management across the business, with a direct report providing support.
You will be responsible for driving operational resilience, ensuring our risk practices evolve in line with our ambitious growth strategy.
* Manage operational risks by maintaining a robust risk management framework and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
* Lead the GS007 assurance process, liaising with auditors, documenting controls, and addressing audit findings to ensure compliance.
* Oversee incident management processes, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and monitoring trends to prevent recurrences.

* Maintain and regularly test the Business Continuity Plan to ensure operational readiness and resilience during disruptions.
* Conduct risk-based reviews of business and technology changes to evaluate compliance and mitigate potential risks.
* Collaborate with internal teams, auditors, and regulators to embed risk ownership and align risk management activities across the organization.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* 5+ years of experience in operational risk management or related roles within financial services, preferably with a focus on investment platforms.
* Demonstrated experience managing GS007 audits or similar audits and operational risk frameworks.
* Proven track record of managing incidents and leading root cause analysis and remediation.
* Familiarity with business continuity frameworks and disaster recovery planning.
* Strong understanding of Australian regulatory requirements, including APRA, ASIC, and relevant financial services standards.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
