What You'll Do
During a two-year graduate program, you will rotate through four organisations — an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), a National Service Provider (NSP), a Developer, and AEMO — gaining experience across the full spectrum of grid connection engineering. You will participate in a central training program and undertake different on-the-job learning experiences in each rotation.
* Collaborate with senior engineers on power system modelling and simulation
* Analyse system performance and conduct incident reviews to identify risks and trends
* Develop and maintain software tools to automate technical studies
* Create technical reports and documentation that inform real-world decisions
* Contribute to cutting-edge projects shaping Australia's energy future
* Build relationships with industry experts and stakeholders across the sector
What We're Looking For
Note: We're seeking curious, driven graduates with:
* A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering (graduating before February 2026)
* Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
* A passion for learning and applying grid connection technologies
* Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Full working rights in Australia for the duration of the program
