Job Description
Transformative Role in Project Management: We are seeking a seasoned Risk Management Lead to spearhead the risk function within our Project Controls team on a high-profile infrastructure project. This pivotal endeavor aims to deliver a nationally significant outcome, and we need your expertise to drive it forward.
This role is responsible for leading quantitative risk assessments, scenario modeling, and ensuring the integrity of all risk inputs and outputs. As the lead, you will:
* Coordinate with precinct teams to collect and validate QRA inputs.
* Conduct QRAs to inform program contingency levels and monitor risk exposure.
* Perform sensitivity and scenario modeling to support strategic decision-making.
You will be responsible for producing risk dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate QRA outcomes, as well as modeling cash flows and escalation impacts over time. Your analytical skills will help identify trends, variations, and areas of concern.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in risk management, with at least 4 years of experience in senior-level roles. You should have a solid understanding of risk tools such as Active Risk Manager, Cura, @Risk, Acumen Fuse, Safran, and Primavera Risk Analysis. Additionally, proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar is highly desirable.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
* Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain (or currently hold) an Australian Security Clearance.
* At least 4 years of experience in risk management, with demonstrated capability at a senior level.
* Strong quantitative and commercial acumen, with a high level of accuracy.
* Proficiency in risk tools such as Active Risk Manager, Cura, @Risk, Acumen Fuse, Safran, Primavera Risk Analysis.
* Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
