About the role
Mi-Mind Trust is seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our growing mental health practice in Toowoomba, Queensland. As the first point of contact for our patients, this full-time role will play a vital part in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the smooth running of our practice. You'll be working full-time 8am to 5 pm Monday through Friday.
What you'll be doing
• Warmly greeting and welcoming patients, both in-person and on the phone
• Efficiently managing the reception desk and handling incoming inquiries
• Booking and managing patient appointments in our scheduling system
• Maintaining confidential patient records and files
• Providing general administrative support to the clinical team
• Assisting with the coordination of practice activities and events
What we're looking for
• Previous experience in a customer-facing receptionist or administrative role, ideally within a healthcare or mental health setting
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage sensitively with patients
• Strong organisational and time management abilities, with attention to detail
• Proficient in using computers and standard office software
• A warm, friendly and professional demeanour
• The ability to maintain confidentiality and follow data protection protocols
