About This Role
We are seeking a Business Banking Manager to join our team. As a key member of our business banking division, you will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of key business banking customers and referral partners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess economic value and risk potential of new business
* Educate customers about their business options and provide sound advice about risk and opportunities for growth
* Proactively call on networks of contacts to help identify new business and referral opportunities
* Implement initiatives to support customer acquisition in the local market
* Work with customers on their proposed annual business plans
* Prepare and submit customer lending proposals with the support of our associate team
Requirements:
* A hunger to find new opportunities with the goal of building long-lasting relationships
* A genuine passion for customer service
* Excellent communication skills
* A curiosity to drive efficiencies and effectiveness across the team, business partners, and overall value chain by modelling our values and behaviours
* Experience in lending and the ability to read and interpret all aspects of customer financials
