We’re currently seeking an experienced Factory Hand with a valid Forklift Licence to join our client’s team in Wacol, QLD.
This role offers the potential for a permanent full-time position following a successful labour hire trial period.
About the Role
Working as part of a close-knit team, you’ll assist with the preparation and dispatch of materials, ensuring all orders are completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Picking, labelling, and manually handling steel products to complete customer orders
* Operating forklifts to load and unload materials, machinery, and trucks
* General warehousing and housekeeping duties
* Ensuring all loads are staged before finishing work for the day
* Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Overtime: Required as needed to complete daily loads
What We’re Looking For
* Current Forklift Licence – essential
* Experience operating a multi-directional forklift (preferred)
* Previous experience in a similar factory, steel, or warehousing environment (highly regarded)
* Reliable and committed to full-time hours
* Physically fit – able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods
* Strong communication skills with the ability to read and comprehend work instructions in English
* A positive, team-oriented attitude and excellent attendance record
