Role
UGL is seeking an experienced Senior M&E; Planner to support the delivery of a major data centre construction project in Melbourne. This key role is part of a high‐performing project team, contributing to protected, predictable and efficient delivery of complex, mission‐critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain fully integrated M&E construction programmes from early works through commissioning and handover.
* Lead detailed sequencing, logic development and interface management across mechanical, electrical and ICT scopes.
* Work closely with construction, engineering and commercial teams to validate programme assumptions and delivery methodologies.
* Identify programme risks and opportunities, implementing mitigation and recovery strategies to protect project outcomes.
* Provide regular programme updates, look‐ahead schedules and performance reporting to senior stakeholders.
* Work with the project controls manager and the commercial team to establish a procurement programme; monitor and set material safety stock levels in consultation with logistics.
About You
* Strong technical planning capability, collaborative mindset and commitment to high‐quality outcomes.
* Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Planner delivering complex M&E packages on major construction projects.
* Background in data centres, hospitals, life sciences, laboratories or large‐scale commercial developments.
* Advanced capability in Primavera P6 (or equivalent), with a strong understanding of integrated master programmes.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, confident to challenge constructability and sequencing assumptions.
* Proactive, solutions‐focused approach with strong attention to detail and accountability for outcomes.
