Job Description
We are seeking to recruit dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Workers to provide valuable support services in the community.
As a Disability Support Worker, you will assist individuals with disabilities in a supported living environment according to their individual needs and life goals. Your primary focus will be on helping them live a fulfilling and meaningful life in the community by providing personal care assistance as required, assisting with daily living tasks such as eating, drinking, domestic duties, skill development activities, medication administration, and social participation.
* Personal Care Assistance: Provide assistance with showering, grooming, toileting, and managing incontinence.
* Assist with Eating and Drinking: Prepare meals and snacks as needed, assist with eating and drinking.
* Domestic Tasks: Assist with cleaning, cooking, and meal preparation.
* Instrumental Tasks: Assist with shopping and managing appointments.
* Transportation: Accompany individuals on outings and provide transportation as required.
* Medication Administration: Monitor and manage medications as directed by the participant's plan.
* Emotional and Behavioral Support: Provide emotional and behavioral support to participants, including managing fluctuating emotions and corresponding outbursts.
