Job Opportunity: Intermediate Water & Wastewater Engineer
Beca HunterH2O, the Australian water division of Beca, a leading Asia Pacific independent advisory, design, and engineering consultancy, is seeking passionate intermediate engineers to join our Planning team in Newcastle. With over 300 water specialists and a broad network of over 4000 multidisciplinary experts, we are committed to creating healthy and sustainable communities.
Role Responsibilities:
Assist senior engineers in delivering planning, feasibility, and strategy studies for water, wastewater, and recycled water projects.
Conduct hydraulic modeling of water supply and wastewater systems.
Perform GIS analysis, prepare reports, and estimate project costs.
Inspect and assess the condition of water, wastewater, and stormwater assets.
Collaborate across disciplines to contribute to process engineering, design, and asset management projects.
Candidate Profile:
Recent graduate in civil or environmental engineering or related field with strong academic results.
Interest and knowledge in water and wastewater network planning.
Willingness to learn and grow within the water industry.
Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
