Insurance Incident Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Insurance Incident Analyst to join our team. As an insurance specialist, you will support the management and remediation of insurance-related incidents and claims.
This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and delivering high-quality outcomes for members impacted by insurance and claim-related events.
Key Responsibilities:
* Actively manage a portfolio of insurance and claim-related incidents, ensuring timely and compliant remediation.
* Maintain accurate incident and remediation records across both administrative and insurance functions.
* Coordinate and manage incidents and breaches involving multiple third parties.
* Oversee the execution and quality of remediation and rectification actions performed by third parties.
* Conduct analysis and quality assurance on outcomes affecting impacted member cohorts.
* Hold third parties accountable for the timely and effective delivery of remediation plans.
* Make informed decisions within delegated authority and maintain appropriate decision registers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in incident and remediation analysis, preferably in the superannuation and/or insurance claims domain.
* Deep understanding of superannuation industry processes, especially insurance within super funds.
* Solid working knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to member remediation and incident handling.
* Experience managing third-party providers and holding them accountable for service performance.
* Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
