The Opportunity

Our General Office is seeking an Administration Officer to support its operations. This role may also involve working at The Border Cancer Hospital.

This position reports to the Director of Finance and Support Services, and duties will be performed with guidance to ensure high-quality patient care is delivered in line with the hospital's care values and strategic direction.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must be a proactive professional with attention to detail and time management skills. Experience as a medical receptionist or admission clerk is desirable.

* Demonstrated administrative skills in a healthcare environment
* Previous experience in health or medical services
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
* Strong customer service skills and commitment to excellence
* Time management, initiative, and problem-solving abilities
* High level of computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and IT
* Experience with Meditech or other patient management systems is advantageous
* Medical administrative or reception experience (desirable)
* Certificate in Medical Terminology (desirable)

Requirements

* A National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months is required
* Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases according to the role
