Skill Development Opportunity in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
Cummins is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to participate in its Technician Apprenticeship program, focusing on Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
As an apprentice, you will undertake a nationally recognized Certificate III trade qualification and complete off-the-job TAFE/Registered Training Organization study. You will receive structured on-the-job training under the supervision of qualified technicians and supervisors in your workshop.
You will have the opportunity to gain practical experience working on a range of world-class Cummins engine products, including automotive, industrial, marine, and mining engines. Additionally, you will receive engine product training with Cummins Technical Trainers as you progress through your apprenticeship.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work well in a team, and a strong focus on safety and wellbeing. A willingness to work across regional areas and rotate through different departments is also essential.
