We are looking for a Trades Assistant and Civil Construction workers to join an excellent WA local business to build the future and maintain our future. If you are an experienced TA and/or Civil construction worker looking to advance in their career with a great team, this is the role for you.
About the Role:
You will be joining our Perth, WA team. Dependent on your position, we have roles available across the following environments:
* Civil Construction Sites
* Workshop-based Operations
* FIFO mining and construction projects
* Potential for shift work, overtime, and night shifts may be required
* Exposure to outdoor conditions, noise, and dust
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with civil works including roads, bridges, trenching, and drainage
* Use hand and power tools in workshop and onsite settings
* Assist with repairs, installations, and maintenance
* Operate or support operation of plant and machinery (if licensed)
* Site preparation, material handling, and equipment movement
* Set up/dismantle temporary signage, barricades, and safety systems
* Maintain clean and hazard-free work areas
* Support general workshop activities including equipment setup and inventory handling
Skills & Experience
* White Card (Construction Induction) – Mandatory
* Certificate II or III in Civil Construction (preferred)
* Basic tool-handling skills or mechanical aptitude
* Forklift licence and/or plant machinery tickets – Highly regarded
* Previous experience in construction, mining, or workshop environments (preferred)
* Driver's licence – Required for most roles
* Physically fit, safety-focused, and reliable
* Ability to work as part of a team and take direction
