Job Description/Key Responsibilities:
Efficient use of the Opera Cloud and Ivvy systems
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to problem solve and think on your feet
Respond to all incoming reservations calls, emails and enquiries from guests, travel agents and corporate companies regarding Group Accommodation.
Coordinate all group bookings from contract stage to final account processing
Processing all reservations, cancellations and amendments to bookings in a timely manner.
Work closely with all hotel departments in communicating group requirements, special requests including VIPs
Communicate guest complaints to hotel management and assist in investigations and resolutions
Be an expert on the hotel rooms, room rates and packages available and upsell when possible
Assist Group Sales when required.
Assist Operations Team during large group check in days when required
Ensure email inboxes are maintained, and response turnaround times kept to a minimum.
Facilitate the end to end coordination of all group bookings including group blocks relating to inventory, payment and group set up where group does not include catering; group cancellations, rooming lists, terms and conditions and group resumes.
