As a Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist, your key responsibilities will include:
* Facilitating evidence-based group therapy programs to enhance understanding and coping strategies for patients with moderate to severe psychopathy.
* Contributing to a multidisciplinary approach to patient-centred, trauma-informed care.
* Assessment and crisis management.
* Short-term, solutions-focused individual therapy.
* Opportunities to contribute to the expansion of specialised therapeutic programs.
About Our Role:
Our hospital provides a range of Inpatient, Day Patient, and specialty mental health services, working closely with Nursing and admitting Psychiatrists to provide optimal patient care.
* Demonstrated excellence in the assessment and delivery of therapeutic interventions for adults experiencing mental health concerns.
* Understanding of Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Registration with AHPRA.
Desired Skills:
* Experience in facilitation of Positive Psychology and Compassion Focused Therapy/Mindful Self-Compassion.
* Recognised endorsement of Clinical Psychology practice with AHPRA and board approval regarding supervision.
