Operational Excellence Leader

We are seeking an exceptional leader to oversee the warehouse team at our Upper Coomera station. Reporting directly to the Depot Manager, this key role will be responsible for managing all operations with a focus on domestic priority and international freight.

The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge and experience in logistics, sales, industrial relations, and leadership principles. Key responsibilities include:

* Leading and motivating employees through effective communication, regular performance feedback, and team building to maximize customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and productivity.
* Analyzing daily results and taking action to meet depot targets for service quality, loss, and damage reduction at optimal costs.
* Establishing a customer-centric culture by implementing initiatives and tools to achieve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
* Ensuring continuous improvement and sharing best practices implementation.
* Initiating and implementing optimization programs to achieve efficient activities and targeting continuous improvement on incurred unit cost.
* Exploring opportunities to improve service levels in the most cost-efficient way.
* Ensuring all resources are focused on achieving high-quality service performance.
* Ensuring staff are trained, identifying training needs, and implementing people development strategies.

Requirements:

* Relevant experience in an operational environment.
* Knowledge of optimization processes.
* Knowledge of business levers, processes, structures, and finance.
* Good knowledge of operational processes and related technology.
* Proven track record of continuous improvement.
* Ability to realize concepts in a can-do mentality.
* Understanding of communication requirements in a multicultural environment.
* Proven experience and knowledge in effective training, coaching, and people management practices, including leadership development.
* Professional certification or equivalent level of experience.
