We are currently recruiting for a Full Time Day Tours Consultant to join our team in Ayers Rock to help our guests have the best experience possible as they explore Australia's red centre as part of this role you'll enjoy:

Full training to get you up to speed - no prior tourism experience required
Open to either a FT permanent or FT contract role
Weekend and public holiday penalty rates
Many career opportunities with Australia's premier touring operator
Go out on tour so you can see the experience from the customer's point of view

SEIT Outback Australia is a small group touring company operating quality, exclusive touring in central Australia.

SEIT Outback Australia offers exciting, adventurous, exclusive and specialised touring in the Red Centre of Australia, focusing on iconic, pioneering and cultural experiences. Our philosophy is based on the key words of S pirit, E motion, I ntellect and T ask. Many of the tour inclusions are exclusive to SEIT Outback Australia and provide authentic indigenous and cultural experiences. Itineraries are customised for small groups with a maximum group size of 11 passengers, as well as various size private charters. SEIT Outback Australia guides have a passion for culture, history and the environment.

The Role

The Day Tours Consultant role is a great entry point to the business for someone looking to pursue a career in tourism - Full Training provided.

Key Responsibilities

Play crucial support to our operations team ensuring the smooth running of tours
Complete daily administrative tasks
Communicate regularly with operations regarding any changes/updates
Contact guests as required to retrieve information and communicate any changes via phone & email
Promoting and providing advice on our amazing SEIT products
Assist with coach dispatch as required
Maintain accurate details in reservations systems and produce reports as required
Work a rotating roster including early mornings and regular weekend work

About you

This role would be best suited to those with a hospitality and/or admin background. No prior tourism experience is required.

We welcome all applications including recent school leavers as well as visa holders.

You will have:

Excellent people skills
Strong communication skills in all formats
The ability to organise and manage your time
Be comfortable addressing guest enquiries
Be comfortable in pressure situations and problem solve
Previous administration experience is preferable

Candidates with a second language are strongly encouraged to apply
