Business Development Director APAC
The role entails leading the regional sales team to capitalize on a strong pipeline of existing clients, including major systems integrators, aircraft manufacturers, and government agencies. This involves fostering key relationships both internally and externally.
Responsibilities:
* Managing the regional business unit's performance, encompassing team management, financial targets, business development, project delivery, and strategy formulation
* Overseeing regional product/service go-to-market plans, particularly for unmanned platforms, airborne intelligence surveillance reconnaissance, VIP aircraft, and multi-role transport
* Partnering with internal groups such as engineering, pricing, and marketing when developing new proposals and commercial offers
* Representing the organization at regional events, trade shows, and conferences
Requirements:
* At least 10 years of experience in sales, preferably in related fields like SATCOM or Avionics
* 5+ years of sales experience within the APAC region in military and government sectors
* 3+ years of team leadership/management experience
* Ability to travel up to 50%
Preferred Skills:
* Prior experience with military satellite communications is highly desirable
* Experience in selling aircraft systems/Avionics is desirable
