We are currently seeking a Junior Qualified Carpenter who is ready to take the next step in their career toward a Leading Hand role. This permanent opportunity is with a well established Queensland-based commercial builder specialising in education refurbishments and new construction projects.
This role is ideal for a motivated carpenter who enjoys working in a structured commercial environment and is keen to build leadership capability on site.
Salary Package: $80,000 - $95,000 + Super
Location: Jobs currently located within the Ipswich area.
About the Role
* Work across active education refurbishment and construction projects in SEQ
* Assist site supervisors and foremen with day-to-day coordination
* Lead small crews and subcontractors under guidance
* Read and interpret drawings and scopes of work
* Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity
About You
* Trade Qualified Carpenter
* MUST HAVE 1–5 years post-trade COMMERCIAL carpentry experience
* Experience on education, commercial or large-scale projects preferred
* Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
* Willingness to step up, take responsibility and mentor others
* Solid understanding of WHS requirements on commercial sites
* Reliable, organised and career-driven
