About the Role We are seeking an energetic finance professional to work alongside our current CFO as he transitions to retirement in the middle of 2027. The successful candidate will join our executive leadership team in Brisbane. This role will oversee the entire finance function across the group and act as the primary financial advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team. The role is both strategic in working with the leadership team but is also quite ‘hands on’ in terms of the day-to-day activities and you will need to mentor and help the more junior members of the team in their daily duties. Sun Engineering is a family-owned private company and the role provides the opportunity to work closely with the owners and decision makers in the business. The Financial Controller will lead financial strategy, reporting, forecasting, and risk management while supporting the organisation’s growth and operational performance.
