**The role**:
Working closely with the CEO, your main responsibilities will be:
- Supporting recruitment processes, including writing position descriptions and conducting reference checks.
- Providing advice on employee relations issues, including interpretation of relevant industry awards.
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with volunteers, employees, and managers and stakeholders.
- Assisting in day-to-day HR activities, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
- Maintaining ethical and legal boundaries while upholding confidentiality.
- Maintaining accurate personnel records and HR databases.
- Perform other duties as may be directed by management as deemed competent to perform.
