Ideally based in Clare or Gawler (or negotiable within the Northern and Yorke region), the Community Engagement Officer plays a key role in the Northern and Yorke Landscape Board, in shaping and delivering community-based, environmental projects and programs that support the goals of the Regional Landscape Plan.
On any given day you'll be involved in planning and delivering community-based projects and programs; inspiring community participation in environmental and sustainability initiatives; working closely with volunteers, community groups, NGOs, schools and cultural educators; coordinating education programs, training sessions and community events; partnering with organisations to deliver nature-based learning in school and communities and supporting the delivery of community grants programs (Bite-sized grants and Grassroots grants), to name a small part of the role
