The Opportunity
It takes a special person to be a Care Worker and help the older members of our community to maintain their independence and wellbeing. We are looking for a person with at least 3 months experience in a similar professional role, to join the Silverchain team in Grafton.
Job Description
In the role of Care Worker you will be providing our aged care clients with home help services such as general housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and grocery shopping, and personal care services such as assisting with mobility, medication, therapy goals, complex care for high care needs (including dementia), social and emotional support, transportation to activities, and supporting family carers.

* Comfortable working independently, finding solutions, and knowing when to ask for help
In Addition, You Will Need
* A valid Australian Driver's Licence and your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
* Experience of 3 months or more in a similar professional role, with experience in personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications
