About The Opportunity
As a Mainline Civil Maintenance Officer at AGIG, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the DBNGP pipeline corridor and its associated assets, ensuring safe and effective operations. Your responsibilities will include civil maintenance tasks such as vegetation control, operating heavy machinery (including tractors, graders, and loaders) for road repairs and maintenance, erosion repair and mitigation, as well as signage upkeep and fencing. This position operates on a FIFO roster of 11 days on and 9 days off, departing from Perth.
Key Responsibilities
- Civil-based activities including line-of-sight clearing and vegetation management, firebreaks and hazard reduction, road grading, erosion repair and maintaining signage of all assets within the various corridors, laterals and offtakes, compressor stations, main line valves, facilities and custody transfer points.
- Play a critical role in ensuring safety on the job. Respond quickly and efficiently to hazards and emergencies.
- Assess the priority of scheduled work to elevate the critical tasks; maximise asset reliability by working thoroughly and efficiently.
About You
- Current and valid HC class driver’s license
- Knowledge of computerised asset management systems, preferably MAXIMO
- Proven experience in machine operations, including the transport of plant and equipment, and operation of front-end loaders, tipper trucks, skid steer loaders, excavators, road graders, road rollers, and tractors/slashers
- Experience in operating chainsaws and brush-cutters
- Demonstrated experience in all types of fencing maintenance and construction, including farm-style fencing and chainmesh systems
