Cloud Engineer - Network
We're working with a Victorian government organisation to engage an experienced Cloud Engineer - Network on a 12-month contract. This role is hands-on and focused on designing, building, and supporting enterprise networking across on-prem, Azure, and AWS environments.
You'll work across physical and virtual network infrastructure, delivering secure and resilient connectivity including firewalls, edge routers, VPNs, ExpressRoute, and inter-data-centre links. The role sits within a large enterprise environment and works closely with architects and technical leads.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing and implementing enterprise network solutions across on-prem, Azure, and AWSBuilding and supporting hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute, site-to-site and point-to-site VPNs)Configuring and supporting physical network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, routers)Delivering cloud networking using Infrastructure-as-Code and automationSupporting network performance, security, availability, and incident resolutionKey experience required:
Strong experience in enterprise networking across on-prem and multi-cloud environmentsHands-on Azure and AWS networking experienceHybrid connectivity and network security expertiseExperience working in complex enterprise environmentsDetails:Contract: 12 monthsLocation: Geelong & Melbourne bothOnsite: 3 days per week
