Remuneration
Total package valued at up to $156,253.00. Base salary ranges from $90,177.00 to $137,861.00, plus leave loading and superannuation contribution. Salary above the minimum is available depending on experience.
Relocation Support
Payment of $5,000 to $8,000 for eligible applicants.
School Background
Bungendore High School opened in 2023 on a temporary site for Years 7 and 8, with a permanent site expected to open Day 1, 2027. Each year the school will add one year group until Year 12 is complete. In 2026, Years 7‐11 will have approximately 210 students, 7% of whom are from Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander backgrounds. The permanent campus will feature modern facilities and a supportive, inclusive environment for all learners.
Specific Selection Criteria
* Full approval to teach special education and/or experience teaching students with emotional disturbance, autism, behaviour difficulties, mild and/or moderate intellectual disabilities, or other complex learning and support needs (Secondary).
* Proven quality classroom practice with knowledge of effective and inclusive teaching pedagogy to support diverse abilities within a support classroom.
* Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and evaluate personalised learning and support plans that reflect each student's unique needs and aspirations.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is required. Candidates without full approval must initiate the NSW Department of Education application process concurrently with this application.
