Overview

Regional Business Development Manager - Oceania & SEA, Portable Flow role at Atlas Copco Group.

As a Regional Business Development Manager, your mission is to drive growth and innovation developing Dewatering product range (Surface and Submersible pump ranges) sales in the region by identifying, evaluating, and negotiating new sales and marketing opportunities across multiple areas. You will also be responsible for supporting (commercially and technically) National Pump and Energy (NPE) for all brands of Portable Flow. You will play a role in shaping the future of Portable Flow business by developing and implementing strategic initiatives that enhance our market presence and drive revenue growth. Your efforts will be instrumental in fostering collaboration across customer centers teams in the region, aligning business objectives, and staying ahead of technology solution trends. You will be part of the Power Technique Business Area and our Portable Power and Flow Division, and report to the Vice President of Marketing of Portable Flow.

Responsibilities

- Develop revenue models, channels, pricing, and product strategies for Surface/Submersible pumps and bolt-on acquisitions.
- Negotiate strategic partnerships and support growth plans with Customer Centers for Portable Flow.
- Prioritize and track investments in new product initiatives, maintaining strong market engagement and follow-ups.
- Share best practices across teams, aligning sales with market needs and regulations.
- Lead targeted sales campaigns to increase market share.
- Strengthen product knowledge of AC and Sykes brands through site visits and spare parts strategy.
- Create tailored training materials for products and tools (e.g., My Toolbox, Pump Sizer).
- Provide application support for pump sizing, setup, and spare parts selection.
- Manage master data and spare parts locally.
- Implement pricing strategies and coordinate ordering processes.
- Improve AC-Sykes products based on NPE feedback.
- Participate in Technical Council to drive product enhancements.
- Collaborate with PTS for accurate spare parts info, pricing, and service training.
- Assess acquisition targets and lead marketing integration across divisions.

Job Location & Travel

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our facilities in Brisbane, Perth or Cardiff, Australia (AU). International travel will be required on a frequent basis in the key regions. The divisional headquarters are in Rock Hill, USA, and its main pump development and manufacturing units are in Italy, Spain and USA.
