We are seeking an experienced and talented Chef de Partie, Commis Chefs, 1st/2nd year apprentices and kitchen hands to join our team at the new Phoenix Brasserie in West Perth, Western Australia. This is a casual position, with opportunities for career progression within our growing organisation.
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 1 years' experience in similar position in a reputable restaurant or hospitality establishment
- for chefs a Formal Commercial Cookery Qualification and Food Handling Certification
- Must be a permanent Australian Resident or Citizen or hold the correct visa. Must have working rights in Australia. No sponsorship available, no packpackers or holiday makers
- Successful candidates must pass a National Police Check
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operation and willing to learn
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Ability to work cohesively with others
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure and have a positive can do attitude
- Must be flexible with working day and night times as this is a demanding role that requires regular weekend and multi dining session availability
