An opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Finance Advisor to join a high performing financial accounting team within a large and complex organisation. This role plays a key part in ensuring strong financial governance, accurate reporting, and effective reconciliation processes across multiple financial systems.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and manage fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations including payroll, Superstream, HRIS, long service leave, and related accounts.Maintain and review general ledger integrity through reconciliation, journals, clearing accounts, and accrual analysis.Support the preparation of interim and year end financial statements and contribute to Treasury reporting requirements.Provide financial advice relating to adjustments, refunds, and financial processes while managing open items within SAP.Assist with policy reviews, internal controls, and process improvements to enhance financial management practices.Undertake research and analysis to resolve complex financial issues and contribute to business improvement initiatives.Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies to support effective financial operations.About YouDemonstrated experience in financial accounting, reconciliations, and general ledger management.Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate and resolve financial discrepancies.Experience using financial systems such as SAP and advanced spreadsheet tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide clear financial advice.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, or Business Administration is highly regarded.Membership with CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants ANZ will be considered advantageous.For more information or confidential discussion please contact Leeann Soden | leeann.soden@hudson.comDiversity, Equity & Inclusion at Hudson Hudson is committed to helping you find a workplace where you feel respected, supported, and free to thrive.
