About the Role
Physiotherapy Assistant - Permanent, full-time (76 hours per fortnight)
This full-time role involves assisting Physiotherapists in delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to inpatients and outpatients. Responsibilities include implementing therapeutic activities, supporting exercise and mobility programs, and managing administrative duties under the supervision of the Physiotherapy Manager and Physiotherapists. The position includes rostered weekend shifts.
Selection Criteria
* Certificate III / IV in Allied Health Assistance (or commitment to obtain)
* Experience in a similar role within an acute hospital
* Ability to work under supervision and independently
* Support patients in group and 1:1 treatments
* Effective time management and prioritization skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills within the multidisciplinary team
